Minis

Today for work, I was inspired to wear mini skirts.

Blue and Yellow always look good together, so I tried what I always had in my closet but didn't really appreciate it until now. Paired with Madden nakle boots peep toe heels
Forever 21 top, Converse vest, Vintage belt, Zara mini, Madden heels

But then I figured this is too casual for work. So I went with the basic (and classic) plain white T-shirt. :)

Shirt and skirt from Forever 21. Vintage accessories. Paired with another kind of peep toe ankle boot stilettos from BCBG.

Satisfied with the basics :)

PS: Get more fringe stuff.

Today at work(Sept. 30), wore this blue ruffled dress that ties up around your waist and will make a big bow at the back. Partnered it with brown and gold hues, animal print of accessories and shoes and mustard big hobo bag.

Repost: Extend a helping hand.

"BAGYONG ONDOY" -- state of calamity. September 26, 2009.

It has only been a day since Typhoon Ondoy hit the Philippines. I think it was yesterday morning since it started raining and it still hasn't stopped, even until now. The rain may have weakened but it's still here. Still pouring. According to the news, the typhoon was only at signal no. 1 or 2 according to PAG-ASA but the amount of water it poured was good for a month's rain already. In this post, I will include some pictures I got from various Facebook users who were eyewitnesses to the very happenings right there and then.

even cars were stacked like this because of the flood.

Here are some other pictures of the incident and other affected places.

A poor dog swimming for it's life.

Katipunan Avenue yesterday during the heavy rain.

Casualties caused by Typhoon Ondoy.

To everyone who weren't affected by Typhoon Ondoy, please help those who were affected. A lot of Filipinos really need your help now. Let's all pray for everybody else's safety and bless the souls of those who died because of this tragedy.

A plug for UP Diliman's University Student Council:
To all those who weren't affected and can share something they have, the UP Diliman USC is collecting food, clothing and/or cash. Pls contact TITUS 09178001909, JOSE 09273056607 and TIN 09154906106. Pls pass/repost. Thanks!

FML.

Wow. It seriously has been eons since I wrote in here. I'm bummed and disappointed at myself for not updating. I feel disconnected with this blog of mine. A lot has happened! I don't know where to start but okay, here's the gist.

Moved to San Francisco, got a job in a retail store, worked there for 3 months in customer service, mom and dad told me I didn't graduate college to just be a cashier (which I fully got the point), met tons of nice people that we became fast friends, got hit on and 1 guy just stood out. And bums me out that just when we were already on the verge of being a couple (did everything what a couple should do) I had to go back to Manila. So, that's done. He's cool. I'm his cougar (lol) coz I'm older by 4 years. UGH. I like him a lot and he likes me. At least that's what he's acting. No love.. yet. Ugh I dunno. I told him that we will pick up where we left out when I come back, and he said the plan is perfect but why do I feel it's not going to happen anytime soon? I hate America's economy. It won't let me give a decent/grown up job that's in line with what I've finished in college. So no choice but to go back to my roots and now that I'm here, it's like I've never left. Only difference is that I am an adult and feeling the ways of one since I already got a decent/grown up job in the metro and feeling the desertedness of an 24 year old. Biological clock is ticking and still no serious boyfriends. FML. I need a NEW adventure. I'm not particular about the destination, I'm more concerned about the journey I'm going to take.
